Recently got another new nickname from workplace. Sounds fun to list down all my nicknames in chronological order~ah gông: when I was a kid, some family friends made that “gong” sound when playing peek-a-poo with me. ultraman: in primary school, cos I used to like ultramanhangman: secondary school time, from my real name. My Sec 1/2 form teacher still calls me that in our email exchange.freak 2: there was freak 1 in Sec 4. lil hang: by Nicole. “siu” can mean small or little in Cantonese.hunk: by my JC classmates. Also from my real name. No connection with my physical look.聋的传人: my brother always says I can’t listen.chao chee bye: ermm I guess a lot of people got called by this also. Army time. The sergeant major liked to stress the first word with a pause.超人: by my unit chief clerk. She thought I could handle all nasty cases.lame 仔: by the old birds in the branch during army time.
